Question Which B&W do you have?

The B&W that I have is different than my buddies. His is on an 05 dually 4x4 and mine is for my 06 SRW. His seems to have a 2 piece side plate (so it looks that way) and mine is more flat. Mine says it fits 03-06 2500 & 3500. Does anybody know what the difference is? There website says nothing about an app for a dually......or is there? My directions say to drill the hole 47 1/2 and I've seen some on here say 47 7/8, so I thought maybe that measurement was for the other model. Thanks.
The hitch I have is #1306

Yup. When I bought my '04.5 it had the hole in the bed for the B&W. I took it to the local dealer and he told me the holes I had matched the older style hitch that was for trucks up to '05. They changed the design to fit the '06. He told me the differences were very minor but included a little different mounting (under the bed) and the chain hooks on the new one are right next to the receiver. (the older one has them slightly behind the receiver toward the rear of the bed)

I talked to B&W yesterday. The old hitch is model 1303, they changed to 1306 which is a different design to fit the Mega-Cab. The new one still fits all 2500 and 3500 3rd gen trucks. The old one mounted 47 7/8 from the back and the new one is 47 1/2.
