I blow my trailer dry including the water heater. Just make sure you don't use high pressure because you can burst a water line. I set the compressor to about 20psi and use the shore water input to blow the system. If you live in an extremly cold climate you may want to put some rv antifreeze in the water traps and some in the santanks also.

I used to use antifreeze, but since I use my camper throughout the winter, this got to be costly. I don't drink from the camper's water supply, though, which helps.
Instead, I drain the hot water and fresh tanks, then use the blow valve to blow the water out. I use no more than 40 psi since the water pump is designed to pump at 45 psi.

The way I winterize mine is to blow the water lines out with 30 psi air pressure (don't forget the water heater), put the water heater in by-pass, go to the pump and hook up a line to go onto the suction side of the pump and let it pull anti freeze out of a jug. Make sure that you have pink coming out of all faucets and don't forget the shower head (if you have one). That way I only need a galon to do the whole job. BTW I also pull the anode rod on the water heater too. It only takes me about 20 min from start to finish.

I do exactly what SuperGewl says; works like a charm, & I don't go thru a whole lot of antifreeze, just enough to protect the traps.
I made up a quick-connect; one side fits the Schrader air line & the other has a 3/4" hose thread with a water-hose quick-connect.
Works Great!

Don't forget the outside shower if you have one and also very important the toliet must have anti-freeze run through the lines, make sure the color pink comes out into the bowl. Before running anti-freeze through the lines drain water heater and then close BY-PASS valve to water heater otherwise you will fill the water heater with anti-freeze.
