Having the thread titles changed only via Admin prevents the thread starter from changing the title thereby confusing the other members (and admins) who are trying to find/follow specifc threads.

Unless the the thread in question in mine then those pesky mods change it just to raise my blood pressure.

I know of a pesky mod that just loves to changes titles without anyone asking.
