i'm sure this has been asked before......
on an 06 tranny 48re... how far can you bump things up and be safe. i don't really pull anything to speak of, mabye 3-5k just a boat or atv;s at times. then is there an :easy "fix" to the tranny before something does break? some preventive measures? thanks in advance.

You can run most programmers, exhaust/intake without having to worry too much about the tranny but it's still going to shorten the life of it depending on your driving habits. But as mentioned VB/TC will be the first things to change out when the time comes.

I was running a bd power pup, which is about 80 real world hp on my stock tranny. It eventually gave up,, got about 40k miles on it before it was getting real weak. Any more hp than that though will end it quick
