Hi everyone,

We're very sorry to hear of the site loading issues some of you seem to be having.

In an effort to help me narrow down things, so we can try to pinpoint the cause of your slowness, could everyone do me a favour please?

Post your location, internet provider & connection type.
Also please share the type of computer you use, the operating system version, and also which browser and version that you use when on the internet.

I hope that through this collaboration, we can narrow things down a bit.

If you have the time, and know how to, going to the command prompt and running a tracert to dieseltruckresource, and including that information in your post, may help us even more.

Thank you for helping, and being patient while we diagnose, and resolve these problems.

cheers,
robb

I am sorry but you guys have no intention of doing so. Why don't you fix CumminsForum first? That's right, for the non-paying members.

I am sorry but when CF got bought out by you guys, you did the same thing. Then for a "compromise" you are going to offer ad-less browsing but only after you throw in "It costs us to not have ads to give us money but if you do, then we can work something out."

Same thing that happened to CF, thedieselstop, and now PS Nation, is happening here. I am glad for smaller forums where the OWNERS enjoy the segment as much as the members and they pay for the website out of their own pocket. Little to no ads, great people, and fast loading without the $$$.

Why not hook up with the owners of VWVortex.com and ask how they can have one of the LARGEST internet forums with a total of 2 ad's that are supported by vendors, not Google? Or how they do it for free?

This is sickening that I cannot click a link without having this pop up:

excuse me, we don't own cumminsforum. thanks.

Could you please right click over that nefarious ad, copy the click through URL and paste it here so that I may have it blocked?

We do not permit any of our advertising partners to use pop up advertisements, and they will be permanently removed if they don't shape up.

cheers,
robb

It did not "pop up". It is a banner that enlarged up to that point. Beyond that, after its little spiel, it downsized. Has happened 2x in the last day but different ads.

I am sorry about the CF accusation. I did some research and no, the parent companies are different entities.

But I am still seeing the almost exact same pattern of events.

Hi Jon,

I have had the MB 'roll over' ad blocked from the site. Thank you for reporting it to me.

I hope that we are able to prove your final statement wrong. I will work to ensure we do.

cheers,
robb

Looks a lot like Chrome to me. Same thing I use. I did have some problems in the beginning but after clearing my history and deleting my cookies everything has been much better.
