Forum for Buyer/Seller Feedback

Just as the topic says, it would give members a chance to see if the person they are buying or selling something to is legit. Not saying here, but there is a few people out there who like to scam others. Maybe have some kind of seller rating when someone places an ad in the classifieds section? Maybe other members can add to this idea. Thank you.

I usually don't even look at the ad if the seller has no posts... I also look at how long they have been a member.

We have a good group, most of us on here know one another. The people on here to scam or start fights usually don't last long.

Good point. However, it isn't always new people that scam.

I don't think the classifieds software is set up for "seller ratings" as they are intended for members to sell an occasional item they are getting rid of. We do not allow vendors to sell products via the classifieds, so no full time sellers are in there.

Be forewarned that there are MANY people trying to scam through the classifieds, from selling product they do not have, to the classic "I will send you a cashiers check for more than the price, you send the rest to my agent who will ship the product for me" scam.

Be careful, if you do not know who you are buying from, you may be throwing away your money. Best bet is to make personal contact and buy local when possible.

And if nothing else...make a post about it. There are a few of us on here that have been/almost were scammed on the site. We can help out.

Almost got taken for $16K, but common sense bailed me out
