Buyer/Seller Feedback Forum

I am a member on other boards where they have a buyer/seller feedback forum. This would be most useful for those who are on the fence about buying items from a private individual instead of a company online. Members would be able to post positive and negative feedback on fellow DTR members. This forum could go in the classifieds section somewhere. Just a thought....

usually a topic about vendors turns into a bashing session between loyal customers and those that have had a bad experience. that requires alot of admin/moderator work to keep it clean.

usually, a person asks "has someone bought from XXXXXXXXXX and what was your experience?" those answers have been via pm. keeps the hostility down.

I agree here,

For example, just sold the turbo out of my 2002 Ford for less than the core exchange price to a local guy. I changed out the turbo for a BB unit, and didn't need the stock anymore. Get a call from this guy 3 weeks after selling it to him. He wants his money back because I sold him "junk". If I don't give him his money back, threatens to throw it thru the window of my house. So, how would this play out. I would say I sold him a working turbo, he would say I sold him "junk." Would it ruin a sellers reputation over 1 sale? Would people believe me if I say this guy installed my turbo wrong, has been through 3 turbos in the past few months, just bought a brand new one from a dealership and is having problems? Point is you can't confirm who is telling the truth...

This isn't esomething. I have gotte two parts from other members on a gentlemans handshake for the price of shipping and i sent a drop hitch across the country for the price of shipping. I don't care for a rating system. Do your horse trading via PM's and keep it to yourself unless you are absolutely sure you found a snake oil salesman or know someone is abusing the classified ads for sure.
