He has some positive, useful comments... He can be a bit abrasive, but all of us can. Just a few are more often

I will admit to my share of useless posts, to rib others (usually those that I know won't mind) and the like, but like XLR88R I try to help where I can...

I agree you make alot of pointless post, half the time you just repeat what has already been said, which is no help.

Hey Chief - if you've got a problem with me feel free to contact me directly...

The problems you've recently had with your truck are unfortunate, but there's no need to attack me for your issues.

Filling out a signature is important, you know: garbage in = garbage out

The "wisecrack" you're so offended by had nothing to do with you or your truck; it was merely a response to an admin's (phox mulder) "wisecrack".

Since a few admins were posting help for you in the thread, I expressed surprise that the check valve problem escaped unnoticed until it was too late for your wallet.

Don't worry, though - I'm sure I won't try to help you in the future!

I'm surprised this thread is still open. I'm not big on it, I can tell you that. Some people just don't have any respect for others. Guys, it all comes down to this. We have rules on our site for a reason and since we're growing at the pace we are, it looks to me like the majority of folks agree with our rules and the standards we set on the site. We're always open for suggestions but for someone to come here and complain because they can't have their way; well, it's kind of ridiculous. It's somewhat like speeding. Everybody thinks they own the road but the reality is, you don't. Don't come here thinking you own the place, because you don't. You're welcome here as long as you abide by the rules we've set forth. That's pretty cut and dry.

Have just waded thru all the posts on this thread and am surprised that it is not locked. That shows a lot of tolerance from the owners of this site and the mods.
It seems to me that the word "RESPECT" is not understood by many members of DTR. Everybody has a right to their own opinion and if you do not like someone’s' opinion, that is OK, but show some class and some respect when voicing your different (and maybe wrong) opinion.
It also seems to me that many of the readers and members do not understand that this is a private, family oriented site. Heck, it is very simple, it you do not like what is posted here, then either shut up or leave.
As has been stated over and over and over again, you agreed to the site rules when you signed up. If you now find that you can't abide by them, then leave. Is that hard to understand?
When it comes to using foul language, that shows both lack of respect and it also demonstrates publically your lack of the knowledge of the English language. The English language has many good, very expressive words that can be used in lieu of bad and abusive words, so IF you are educated, use them on this site. It constantly amazes me that some people have so little self respect and respect for others that they have to so frequently spew forth the evidence of their inadequate upbringing, lack of education and personal relationships. Wise up or shut up!
BTW, please do many of us a huge favor and read thru your posts and correct for bad spelling and grammar before clicking on 'send' or 'submit'.
There, now how many of you have I ticked off?
