wondering

I have a 96 12 valve that I have added a 100 fuel plate, 4 inch exhaust, and full gauges. After all that I had to have my auto trans rebuilt with a single disc torque convertor, shift kit and some valve body mods. I was thinking about doing the GSK and was wondering how it would affect my transmission. I also tow a 26 foot travel trailer with this truck as well as being my daily driver. Anybody have a setup similar to mine?

Don't think about it...just do it! GSK is one of the easiest and most effective pump mods to do. It won't affect your transmission really, you might find that it will be shifting up too soon. Can be tweaked, but with the shift kit already installed you might find it to be o.k. GSK doesn't add any torque, just a bit more HP because of spinning faster. Have fun!

You might find the 100 plate requires constantly watching your pyro and adjusting the egts with your foot while towing.
Can get old real fast when you really should be watching the road with a trailer.
The plate is like a cruise control for egts.
I like a #10 for towing
