Was wondering, paid to much

Being new to this type of truck, I was wondering, was $3500 a fair price for a FLA truck in New England, 1991 SE 350 4X2 dually 175000 miles standard cab with cap, no rust. The white part of the two tone paint is just starting to flake off. New tires, brakes, battery. Looks great.Runs great

Sounds to me like you did great, I paid $4600 and had to drive it home from Texas.

Craig93 - - Where’d you get your dash mount pod? Does it fit the contour of the dash? I started with an A-Pillar but for me it pointed straight up so much I had a hard time reading the gauges. Then tried an under the dash. Every time I looked down there I did just like when I ride a bicycle - - started to drift. Finally got this dash mount. As you can see in te picture the base is flat so it looks sort of dorky. :- But I do like the location.

Did your pic make it?
My triple pod is installed on the dash just above the heater controls and is contoured to fit. They were on when I bought the truck, but they were installed in Calgary at Performance Assist Accessories Limited (403) 279-2807 or fax 236-1798.
$440 in parts $360 in labour and taxes....back in 1999.

It didn't make it. Guess I don't know how to do it. Have to play around a little to find out.

Re:Was wondering, paid to much

the white paint flakin off is a problem on all of these first gens...up through 92 at least. My truck did it, (2 tone red and white) and every other one with factory paint was still doin the same thing - just thought i'd share that one with ya..
