Wich TC?

I'm looking for everyday driving not a triple disc lockup and billet. Does anyone make a TC that is good for a daily driver, can handle a little more power +75 or so, and doesn't cost 1500$ ????? I just did the trans go tfod kit in my truck. Clutches, bands, and everything seem to be in great shape. I can only assume that the trans had been done before I got the truck....no way that it's in that good of shape with 108k on it.

Goerend single disk? Give Dave a call for prices 563 778 2719. I'd link the website but it's down for upgrades.

I have 190000 on my 96. Never misses a beat doesn't slip, shifts good ALL the time. Never been out of the truck. I tow a 32ft T.T. So they will last with some care.

I'll say DTT

The single disc from DTT is under 1000.

Can't tell you first hand that I love it yet, as I am getting it put in currently, but they came very highly recommended!

Cause of price. I'll get the triple when I can finally afford a full on built tranny and the mods to push em.

Your money but I'd really look at a triple now less money in the long run. Cost for a good single is ~700 and 1250 for a lifetime warranty. That 700 goes a long way towards a turbo or other goodies.

yup talk to Dave, I thought i needed a single disc but he explained a triple would be better with the little more power i'm gonna add plus its a daily driver with no sled'n or tow'n.

Go for a DTT single disc billet. about 850 or so, and I LOVE mine. Also, i wouldn't recommend just doing a TC. You will also need to get a shift kit for the VB or buy a better one too. Just buying the TC is not a good idea at all.
