Why truck dies?
Why truck dies?
I know this has happened to a few people with the jammer injectors. When the comp is up and when you get on it and let off sometimes it will act like it wants to die and catch itself and sometimes it will die and i have to crack the injectors to get it started again. Fuel pressure is good. I have heard that the injectors cause this, but why? If I changed from the nozzles to the whole injector would that stop it. If switched from the comp to a smarty would that stop this? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks
well it's not a jammer problem. Mine didn't do it with my jammers 4's, but it will with my mach 6's. They say it's a heavy fueled truck problem. You will learn how to drive it so it won't do it. (not back off it so fast). They say when they make a hard pull on one, (dyno, sled pull, drag race) they will kick it up in neutral and keep the truck running while slowing down, BUT you souldn't have to crack a line to get it to fire back up
Well I had to slow down real quick and it died so i pulled of the road and tried to start it and it wouldn't start. I originally thought it was my IP, but there were no codes and no check engine light. I cracked the injectors the next day and to see if fuel was getting there and it shot out like crazy. It started with the lines cracked so I don't know why i had to crack them.
