you have to remember that most programmers are sold to people who want to plug and play with no problems....egt engine damage wire tap......
there are going to be driveability issues with something like that when its on kill.
by driveability i mean if a 90yr old woman thats used to driving a cobalt puts this in and it surges or bucks or egts go high they will complain and itll get a bad rap.
also
youd probably have to tap the pump to get it this high hp.......warrenty void on the pump now.

quad has the highest hp programmer and look at how many posts are on this forum because of little things like a small surge or buck.
its a tough road to go down when making a programmer with high hp.
i dont think alot of companys want to deal with these issues.
quad is still making this programmer better and better every day

All a programmer can do is ask the pump for full fuel. The fueling boxes actually run the pump past oem specs so it puts out more fuel. CP3 puts out more fuel than a vp44.

darn it ph4tty i was just about to say that... Like all engines basically adding a performance part (programmers, injectors, etc.)alwayz will be about flow. more flow more power. Programmers change the amount of fuel going to those injectors (again changing flow) but like gotslicks said programmers are mainly for the plug n play crowd. Which means they are mostly ment to run with stock parameters with out hurtting anything. But you can get more power out of them with supporting mods (exhaust systems, better pumps, intakes, turbos etc.) Heck you can even stack some programmers and get even more power

Yup to stacking, and its not how much fuel you have available, but how you use it and when.
