Where do you mount an Edge Juice module??

Hello..

I am preparing to install an Edge Juice and Attitude setup in my recently purchased 2002 3500 4x4 quad cab.

Where do you mount the edge module?? The instructions do not include any information for the module mounting.

Has anyone installed this type of setup that I can run questions by you?

I really appreciate your help!

Joe

Most people just Velcro them to the top of the fuse box in the engine compartment.

Thanks Scott

That's what I figured but just wanted to make sure.

Have you ever wire tapped your VP44 with one of these edge products? The instructions say it is optional?? I say why have it if not ready to install 100%.

The instructions call to connect into a single select wire on the VP44. This part is what "throws me off". Their instructions are kind of multi-purpose and not very model year specific. Can anyone clarify their process to perform this step.

Well some people don't tap the pump for fear of killing the VP44. It's a gamble some go as soon as tapped and some last along time.
If you don't tap it just acts like the EZ.
Get the stealth cover i wish i had done that when i tapped my Comp.

What is a stealth cover?

Also, can I always tap it later if I want to(post initial install)?

I'll have to look at what I will not gain by not tapping the VP.

Thanks again,

Joe

I have a Comp that I am holding off on tapping the pump wire for until after I get some transmission upgrades done. Even without the wire tapped there is a very noticable increase in power, especially at lower rpm's.

Everybody sells them Summit, Jegs, all the diesel performance stores.

By not tapping it you don't get the fueling of the box.

Thanks Scott for the information on that Stealth cover. I have never seen or heard of that option before. How difficult to install it?

CNeubauer - Thanks for the feedback in regard to not tapping the VP. I will not tap mine at this point. I will be impressed (I'm sure) when everything is installed. Actually, I really am looking forward to the "monitoring" of the drivetrain's vitals. I wan't to know what is going on.
