Oh boy, nobody wants to help me here, so I'll do my best...

The stock non-intercooled injectors are good for just under 300 horsepower. (They're bigger and flow better than the intercooled injectors.)

After stock the next step is the venerable Lucas "Prince of Darkness" injector, or POD. I believe that you can pull of well over 400 horsepower with those, but they're just about the most inefficient injector you can find for these trucks. A set of POD's runs around 600 dollars, although they can be had for 400-ish.

I've just come back from a month-long hiatus, and supposedly Dynamite Diesel has some injectors now too. Don't know much about those, however.

After the 450-ish (non-drug) range, you start to need custom EDM's. I think that they start at around $200 an injector, although I must admit I haven't been looking at anything of that nature recently.

Smile Pod

Hi,
I have the POD injectors and I get great mileage, but a lot of smoke. I'm probably getting about 230 hp in my 93.
Just my two cents,
Mike

If you want lots of power and money isn't a concern definitely custom EDMS the pods are pretty much the next best thing and I hardly noticed a difference at all when I installed them on my non ic truck> I wish I didn't waste my money on them and saved them for EDMS

You got more smoke with the POD's, right?

I'd think that the POD's alone with no turbo enhancement wouldn't get you much over stock?
