What a great day playing with Smarty!

I met a few local DTR boys today and he has a "99" with stacks, turbo, injectors, comp, FASS, Dynoed at 545HP, (yes, I saw the dyno sheet ) We'll one thing lead to another and they came out to my house and I hooked them up with my Smarty!

We dialed that baby into #8 and went for a ride. It was crazy power time! Laid down black marks all over my road 150 feet long, pouring black smoke something fierce. That was just until he shifted
Next shift he laid down more rubber still and we were going 90MPH before ya knew it.

That was an impressive ride. These diesels are just amazing.

Approx. 65 RWHP, the "gains" are supposed to be in the overall drivability and low end responsiveness.

Do a search.

Why don't you just let me have it and I'll let you "visit" it everytime we get together. I'll even send you a picture of it every now and then.

Gee, what great friends I've got. Sorry bud but the smarty is going back on today. This no smoke, lack of power, fall flat on it's face after 2500rpm, getting horrible mileage stuff has to stop. I didn't realize just how much the smarty did for me.

Hey Blue got a question for you. With your DTT valve body and only the smarty how did your trans hold up? I am looking at that route right now. I have tried the smarty but on #9 the trans hates me even when I am real easy on it. Would that DTT body make it not slip and hold together well? Thanks!

If your tranny is already slipping then it's just down hill from there. Mine wasn't slipping when I installed it so it held up great. If I hadn't gotten full of myself and overly abused it I'm sure that it would still be holding together just fine. I'm very impressed with it. It was only built to hold a comp and 275's.

Excuse me! This thread was started to brag about my weekend, not your truck, or lack of Smarty whoas!

I still cannot believe the POWER that truck put out. It was like a built 427 in the good ol days. Nothing but no excuses mean power.

BTW BB is right about your tranny. (Man, It hurts to say that. )

Might hurt you to say it but it sure does feel good to hear it.

I love my smarty. I miss my smarty. My smarty is going back on tomorrow. My tranny hates me.
