Playing with Injector Nozzles

150000 miles ago I pulled the stock injectors out of my H/O and had the fellow at my local injection shop get me some bully dog 80hp injectors. They were back ordered and he said he could get some pretty hot nozzles and put them on a set of stock injectors. So we did it. No box..just a boost fooler...no elbow...(35lbs. boost)
and my buddys 6.0 pwr strk. cant get away from me. So Im satisfied.
Now heres my question...The injectors he put these nozzles on were listed for the 2000 ISB. Not specifically for the H/O. I know that the H/O pump works at higher pressure dose that mean there are two different injectors for the H/O and the standard ISB?
I still have my stock H/O injectors and want to have another set of these nozzles installed on them and put them in my brother's Standard ISB. Hoping for the same results. Or will the H/O injectors in stock form show a improvement in his ISB?

The HO nozles are smaller in size/flow than the SO nozzles.

Going to the SO nozzle in the HO engines gives a small power gain. Using the HO nozzles in the SO engine will give a power loss.

The nozzles I plan to replace. Is the rest of the injector the same? I figure there may be a pressure rate for the injectors at which they open. And what I am wondering is....are these pressure rates the same or are there 2 different rates for each series injector?

Yes they are different. The injection shop will know what to set them at.

Take it from Don. He builds injectors for a living.
