Is the V-10 nv4500 from an 01 the same as the diesel version? The information that i have found says that it is, but I found one that is supposed to be out of one. However it appears to have a 1-1/8" input shaft.

I just happenen to run across your post, I may be of some help.I pulled a NV4500 from a '98 V10 truck awhile back. It had a 1 1/4 spline input and 29 spline output. Just like the diesel version.Sounds to me like you have one from a 360 gas version. On the bright side,parts are available to convert it to whatever you need. GOOD LUCK CR.
