unpluging the map sensor?

i had it suggested to me that if i wanted smoke off idle that i could unplug the map snesor wire off of my comp. he said that it threw a low voltage map code or somethin. Have any of yall done this? will the code go away when the map sensor is pluged back in? thanks

If the voltage from the MAP is too low you will have a significant power loss..... The check engine light will illuminate but will reset itself after a few cycles.

The Mad is around 500, plus the core which varies opon who you order from. It is usually about 400 I believe. The mad is well worth the money and will make all the smoke you want! I have stock injectors and it will put out a very nice cloud just punching in neutral. With your injectors you have you should be able to fog out a whole 4 lane!

I would definitaly go bigger b1 or sumthin to that effect ht2b sw300 ect

I've got a 35/40 hybrid and w/my setup (wastegate unhooked I can push 48-53lb boost........too much, way too much

I probly have made a mistake and went ahead and got(in the prosses that is) the mad, and I'm just gonna try a 16cm2 housin on the 35/40 and hope it'll hold together,..........headgasket is startin to worry me now too now that I think about it
