Twins w/ HX35

Has anyone ever made twins using the stock HX35 as the top turbo. After going to the Fass Nationals in Indiana it doesn't look like fabbing up some twins would be etremely hard. I am going to shot for 500hp eventually, so can it be done with the stock HX35 as the primary charger?

i dynoed 480 with an hx 35 i never see above 1300 degrees. i think with a 14cm housing they will handle 550hp on the hot side

Thanks guys my next questions are

1) J-fox is that a 12cm exhaust side with a wastegate?

2) Did you guys fab every thing up or did you buy parts?
-the only part i would look at buying would be the exhaust piece between the top turbo and bottom turbo. Everything else i can bend to fit.

Thanks Adam

O i forgot to ask where i could find an ht3b. I saw on PDR's website that they sell the hx35/ht3b as a kit and say it is good for 350-600 hp. So could i buy that exhaust piece from them?

Thanks Adam

Yes it is a 12 wastegated. There is some clean up grinding too. The center divider is drilled also.
I bought the kit, as I use the truck daily.

better off hanging an s400 turbo below your stock HX35. The S400 is 650 bucks new and will outperform the HT3B in every way. You can buy the hotpipe=piece between two turbos from sourceautomotive.biz. They sell a ton of do it yourself kits with all the flanges, tubes, fittings, clamps etc you could ever want. They also sell welded complete parts as well if you don't have a welder.

Hey there, ok jumping on this thread.. is there anything that needs to be done to the stock hx35 to be used in a twins setup? I'll be home from Iraq in Sept, and my first project is twins, what kind of power are ya lookin at with the 35/s400? How much welding is needed if you don't want to buy a kit? And can you buy the kits to be welded up if you want to go that route? Thanks for any info..
