I did a dyno run locked and then unlocked, back to back. I lost 50%

You'll end up about the same price as a set of Custom twins, and should have one good running setup!

Besides, if the big S300 isn't enough, you can do some modding on the pipes to make a S400 fit in there

I really need a tranny...all this talk about twins has me chompin' at the bit to get mine built!! Gotta save that money for the tranny for now though

Ahh looks like i MIGHT have my mind set then

Rip Rooks 2/3 kit with the S400 below, and probably gonna swap out that HX35 to a 40..... I want some custom twins so bad, but i think the pocketbook is gettin fuller much quicker teachin Soo... christmas might come early for me soon enough.....

Lookin for lightning fast spoolup (like a 35) about 65-70 psi boost, and about 550 plus rwhp, I will add water meth too.. anymore ideas guys?

Well looks like i have some research to do.. Will do it at the Houston Diesel rally.... BD's are back in the run for consideration....

HX40-16/B2 should do the truck...O-rings are a must, and some headwork or a cam would really make it run!

I'm scared to think of the power I'm losing through my tranny. I did find the limit of it today. 3/4 throttle unlocked in 2nd and flipping the lockup switch without backing off. Talk about shudder central. It was nasty. Whoops. FWIW, I do all dyno runs with the lockup switch on so the converter is always locked when I dyno.

I've got Rip's twins sitting at home waiting for me. there are the S300/S400 ones, so it should be close to what BD's new twins will be like.

is there anything diff. that BD does to their S300's from another? mine has the dual ported waste gate and is the standard set up. same thing or not?

There are a few other threads out there where customers are amazed at how well our twins respond. They are going to be almost as quick as the HX35. They will also flow enough to do over 600hp. Our 02 is 620 at the ground. On 33" tires we have 60ft times in the high 1.6 to low 1.7 range. Running 12.20s at 110mph. It runs very clean as well.

Depends on when they were made.
Lattest S300 also has extended tip compressor wheel. Don't know what changes , if any, BD has made to the S400.
