H2 wheels
A couple of questions for the experts. Am putting H2 wheels on my 2nd gen and did'nt like the look of the 2nd gen center caps on the rims, you can see a gap around the rim after it's seated on the lugs. Does anyone know if the 3rd gen center caps will fit on a 2nd gen? And if so what is the diameter compared to the 2nd gen cap?

Those have obviously already been machined out to fit your axle. For 3rd gen caps (on Hummer wheels)....see here!

Does not exactly answer your question... but may help.

Yes the third gen caps fit the second gen trucks. The rim of the cap needs to be cut down a little otherwise the tabs will not reach the lugnuts. There are detailed directions on how to do this.
See my gallery for pics.

Thanks for all the replies. Though what I'm after is the diameter of the 3rd gen cap verses the 2nd gen cap. The 2nd gen cap is a little to narrow and you can see the recess into which the h2 center cap usaully snaps into. The rims are currently with my neighbour being machined to fit the axle. While we're on the subject, does anyone know what the part # for the 3rd gen caps are in a chrome finish?
thanks
thanks
