don't think the Y return is a good idea. I don't have anything that proves it, but I suspect the stock return line is just big enough to support a single charger. I do know high restriction in the return line leads to premature turbo seal failure.

The line I added was 5/8 ID.. the stock line is 7/8 ID.. Many engines run 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4 return line.. The feed lines are tiny.. The trick is to keep the downward angle from the Big turbo... Yes, I'll agree returning to the pan is the best... but there was no way I was going to pull the pan on that truck...

wow that was easy

thanks everybody that was about the easiest thing i have done to my truck. i was expecting something much different and much harder but to my surprise i just laid a flat screwdriver against one side gave her a couple of light taps with the eastwing hammer it turned sideways, grabbed it with a pair of pliers and pulled her right out. simple as that. took about 10 seconds and when it was done i was like wow that was easy!!! it was about a million times harder on the undervalved truck i had.

to those who are going to twin a 12 valver- take your time when you drill that oil pan, it can make the job much harder if you rush and mess it up. just drill a hole in the oil pan, clean it out several times, and either weld it, be sure to cool it too, or JB WELD it (what i did). either way it will be fine and just think you're almost done just connect the dots now!!! good luck to all!!!
