I have a 2005 that I am swapping in a 1994 12v from an auto truck (CR blew in half) I had another garage pull the engine, and somehow my turbo got swapped for a wore out, junk yard HY. I took it to the shop, and looking about 1400 for rebuild. The stock turbo from the 94 still seems decent.

I am using the exhaust manifold off the CR, so the turbo hooked up, but now Im faced with the unexpected. Also the outlet on my HY is 4" where as the WH? is smaller.

Do I have any options here? I am planning some mild upgrades with the engine swap. Thanks

 

So basically the guy who pulled your engine stole the turbo off of it? I would be at his doorstep demanding he make this right. 1400 for a rebuild sounds way off to me anyway, you can buy a complete turbo for less than that.....
