Dana 70 Rear End Interchange Question

Is a 2WD D250 complete Dana 70 rear end assembly interchangeable with a 4WD W250 rear end assembly or is one carrier centered and the other offset?

the one in my 92 is out of a 91 2wd that only had 61,K on it, mine had over 400K when I blew the Power Lock into to big chunks and lots of little ones.
