Glow Shift Gauges?

Hey everyone I was thinking about buying some Glow Shift Gauges for my 2002 Dodge 2500. Have any of you bought gauges for your truck through Glow Shift? I was wondering if they are a good product and worth the money or if they are junk? Any help is appreciated. I am going to buy them Monday if feed back is not good then Im going to buy Auto Meter Gauges.

Buddy of mine put them in his 04 couple months ago he's happy with no problems. also recommends the wiring kit for the extra few bucks says its worth it. my brother bought them for his 97 still waiting for install. I will most likely go with them when upgrading my gauge set is due. had a issue with my automate egt gauge as well....the odd problem with glowshift seems to b right on par with all the other expensive brands. id go with them

Ordered a Fuel Pressue and Rail Pressure Gauge. Couldn't pass up on the price. Appears to be no hassel warranty and return policy if the don't turn out as advertised. Looked at i$$pro as well. Just because assembled here doesn't mean it is any better. All the guts come from else were. And autometer, diprocol, isspro are all over priced. Rail guages from dirpocol and isspor were well over 200-250 till autometer came out with one for 189, then the finally dropped their prices. Even if these fail miserably and I have to eat the cost i got both for cheaper than one guage from the other 3 and really the stuff in there isn't that expensive. Fuel stable pressure reader is 20 bucks from an electronics hours. I have built voltage readers and then have to make the stepper motor control. If i had to guess they have less than 45-50 bucks in their guages even paying for labor.

My "I$$Pros" have been working since installed in January 2000.
Now with 180,000 miles.
Well worth the $$$.

Not sure why some folks have to try to slam another product to make them feel better about their choice.

My Isspro's have been in since 1995 and half a million miles ago.
Pyro failed after about seven years, Isspro sent me a complete new pyro with probe no questions asked.
They didn't even want the old one back.

I not trying to feel better about my choice. Just stating some facts. plus I like the multiple color options my self but to each their own. Glad the ISSPRO has held up well for everyone and trouble free. Hope my glow shifts do the same. If not i will will have learned my lesson and probably by american assembled with some forgine parts product. I'm all for profits but also am for the free market and competition to stop the gouging being the only game in town for a while.

ok so a bit of an update here. installed glowshift boost, tranny temp and egt gauge on my bros truck. installation is really easy and fit was pretty decent. but once everything was done and we fired it up boost gauge was reading 6 psi at idle. would read that on, off, or just with the ignition on. didnt matter. took it for a drive and it works fine as did everything else but just never falls to 0 psi. another thing and this is just personal preference but the gauge markings are really busy if u know what i mean. first time i drove with these things and was kinda hard to read cause there were so many little markings everywhere. drove my truck home (autometers) and found them WAY easier to read at a glance. looks like the isspros would b easy and simple to read as well. just a little feedback for y'all. so would i buy glowshift? if money was an issue then absolutely. but personally im thinking of trying isspros next time

ps the 7 different colors thing may sound cool and appeal to a certain type of ppl but its just not my thing. also i dont think you can hook them up to the dimmer **** like i did my autometers so brightness isnt infinitely controllable to match the dash lights

The correct type does dim when hooked to the light switch. Double check your senders and make sure you didn't get a couple swapped. I did that. The boost sender should be marked in PSI and the fuel pressure should be in BAR. I had mine swapped because the fuel gauge was a 60psi so I though the 60psi sender had to be it. Drove for months thinking I had a turbo problem. Emailed Glow Shift and he told me to check them and sure enough , my fuel was actually reading high and my boost low. I confirmed everything with another set of gauges to be sure. And I love the 7 color thing as I don't let them run, just found a color I like to see that's easy on the eyes at night.

What do u mean senders? the boost gauge is mechanical with a tube running from the intake manifold to the gauge itself. and the wiring is too simple to mess up and its been double checked. only sender we put in was tranny temp iirc
