I would give glow shift a call about the boost guage. Something not right there. Got mine install and they are working well. Install was easy I thought as well. Just took a little time to dress it all in right and protect things. My son loves the colors and I do too so far. He really likes it on the mode that cycles through them. Thus far happy with the results. They are bright though. I haven't hooked them to the light switch yet but think I may just put a push button on off swith for the orange wire to a 12 v source.

i have had a few sets of glow shift gauges.. the first set i put in my dodge worked for about a year, then the egt and trans temp gauge would jump all over the place.. i complained to them and they sent me the newest upgraded set free of charge and they payed the shipping to canada.. all i had to do was send the old set back for testing.. they are built completely different with linear actuators and they do dim.. i wired mine to be dim all the time because even on dim they are pretty bright.. sofar i am very happy with the newest ones, and their service is second to none.. you can tell the old ones from the new ones, if the needles on the egt and trans temp gauges move smoothly to max then drop back to 0 when you turn the key on you have the newest ones.. the old ones just twitched a little when you turned the key..

I ordered a new set of the 7 color GS guages for my truck direct from their website. This was less than 2 months ago, since then my boost and EGT work great, my fuel guage is on it's 4th pressure sending unit. Finally after 4 sending units (all 4 mounted in different places and the last one being isolated and remote mounted), they finally told me that they are having a lot of issues with the sending unit for the 0-100 psi guage and that they are going to send me a 0-30 guage and sending unit. They told me they were having issues for the past several months with these sending units, but WHY would they keep sending me defective parts if they KNEW they had issues??? So I finally get my new guage, new pigtail, and new sending unit. Get everything wired up and the sending unit is bad.....this is the 5th sending unit!! These guages are wired correctly, and the guages normally worked fine but the vibrations were killing these sending units. The last sending unit was broken from the factory, I was able to verify this with a multi meter. Even though I think they have a horrible product, their customer service really has been pretty good, they have not ever given me a single problem about warranty issues and normally have not even wanted the old stuff back, they would just send me new sending units, however after the 4th one they needed me to start sending the bad parts back and I can understand that. I have mixed feelings, outstanding customer service, horrible product.....

i just got my new set of 7 color gauges for my 03 and the egt gauge is doing some funky things, like when you get the temp over 1000 the gauge will just shoot to the max then bounce around quickly between 700-1500 for a while.. i know its not my truck because when it starts doing this there is no smoke, boost stays steady, nothing out of the norm.. i had a similar problem with their older style gauges in my 97 and they replaced them with the new style.. they want me to swap the egt gauge from my 97 to the 04 to see if the problem stops so they can determine weather to send me a new probe or gauge.. like you said i have never had a problem with their service.. i never hooked up the 30psi fuel pressure gauge yet but i guess i should before my warranty runs out
