TST/Smarty issue

I am running both the TST Comp and the smarty and I am having issues with it fueling. I have Dynoed on a few settings. Smarty on #9 with TST on #7,8,and 9. 9X9 gave me the best power, but the engine fell on it's face at 3100rpm's, I dynoed this last weekend t BD with the Smarty on #3 and TST #9. Now the engine fell on it'f face at 27-2800rpm. Now, I have been told that with the right settup the Smarty would full fuel to 4k and sccording to http://www.tstproducts.com/index.asp...&ID=13#24Valve TST it should full fuel to 4500rpm. so, ***???? driving the truck you can feel the power just drop off, but it will still rev to 3400rpm, but it doesn't pull hard past 27-2800rpm.
Any ideas? thanks

Scotty.

Just an FYI for me on the dyno Smarty #9 and TST #7 nets me the best HP... TST #9 can actually lose me 20hp on the dyno...

Now on the street Smarty #3 is faster than #9

I dynoed with smarty on 9 and tst on 7,8,and 9 and 9X9 got me the best.
Smarty on #9 also feels stronger on the street. with smarty on #3 the truck will flat fall on it's face at 27-2800rpm with TST on or off.

Glad to see mine's not the only one falling on it's face at 2800 or so. My truck will pull hard up to 2800-2900 and then just suddenly stop. My last 3 dyno runs stop dead at 120mph. The truck flat out will not accelerate beyond that. Smarty has been on #3 the whole time. Maybe I should look into turning it up for the dynos?

for what its worth, these trucks have a fuel cut off at 117, i know mine in 4 and 5th gears will pull hard all the way to 3400-3500 when i shift, then in 6th it will be pulling hard thru 3k then bam it dies off as it hits 117mph, closed course testing

I know it does but my speedo ain't even at 117mph by the time it hits the limiter and it's only at 2700rpm. Once the truck stops pulling the speedo finally finishes the climb to 120mph. It's like I'm accelerating faster than the needle can keep up but the ECM senses the speed and shuts it down before it has a chance to wrap all the way out.

the defueling happens in all gears. I dyno in 5th and that doesen't bring me over 100mph. I kn0ow it isn't the gov. limiting me. that hits at 115mph

when i had the broken 5600 with no 6th gear...i found out with 3.54's and 35" tires it was not hard to pull thru 3500rpms in 5th and hit the 105-108 range. even a duramax found out that i dont need all 6 gears to wipe the road with his rear!

My truck also experiences some "dead spots" when running the Smarty and the TST. Have you tried the TST with an EZ? Or a Van Aaken?

That's because #3 program is a non-smarty program and still has the defuel in the program. All the Smarty programs 4-9, have no defuel. Have Marco build you a new #3 without the defuel and you'll think different IMHO.

I've been able to use with #3, but my '99 doesn't have the defuel like the 01-02.

Before the Smarty people had to use a RAD device to get rid of the defuel.

I thought the RAD only took care of the top speed issue and torque manegment with the autos.

It still is defueling at 3100 with the 4-9 smarty programs

My mistake, I didn't read you sig. You're right, the RAD is for the auto crowd.
