TST Comp Shutter VP noise

I was over at the 3rd gen forum with a question about a buddies 05 and found out about turbo bark, now I am wondering if I have it. With my TST Comp on a high number like 7 or above when I get on it then let off the gas quickly it shuttters the vp and the truck jerks, but there is a noise also. I always thought the noise was the VP, but is that the turbo "barking"

Yeah the TST is not the smoothest fueling box at all, I dont know why that brutal shuddering cant be fixed in the programing.

Is the sound the Injector pump or Turbo Bark though? I think Can17, you are saying it is turbo?

What you are getting is the TST shudder.

Basically, the box is fueling off boost reference. Add boost, it fuels. If you back out and the boost drops below the fueling point that you are at, it drops all fueling signal to the boost level you go to. In other words, it shuts the fuel off.

It's just like letting out too hard. Truck shuddering and turbo barking are symptoms of the higher levels. You can lessen this by staying in the throttle and allow the fueling to catch up to the boost.

Yeah, my brother has a PM3 Comp on his 02 and it's bad about jerking in the higher power levels if you let off too quickly, and if you let off suddenly while at full boost you can bet on barking the turbo.
