Transgo VB kit
I bought a Transgo VB kit some months ago and have been waiting until it was time to change the fluid. Well, now I'm ready and I've lost the video that came with the kit. Is there anyone who still has their video that would send it to me? I'd pay you something for your trouble. I have kit # TFOD-HD2 for my 47RE tranny. This is a great site!
check this out next best thing and you can print it out. not a really hard job. later.

roysleight,
I have the same kit, except it did not come with a video. It was not a hard install. I am very happy with my install. My tranny shifts much quicker and my lockup is also much quicker and holds much better. My only complaint is with the instructions. They were very vague and poorly written. A week after I installed it, I took it back out to make a few adjustments. I called Transgo this time and they helped explain what the directions didnt. Give them a call before you install it and things will go smoother. I did find better (updated?) instructions on this site and on the net than what was in my kit.

I didn't get a video either. The very hardest part of the whole job was the park rod e-clip. Oh, and I forgot to plug the wiring harness back in when I put it back together. Fortunately the plug's outside. When you drop the VB the one piston will fall out, so be ready for it.

Great replies, thanks guys for the help. Good info on that link Shoe has. I'm still going to try to get a video so that I have all the info I can get before I tear into this. I've got the tools and I'm a good enough mechanic but I'll do all my homework first.
Here are some better (updated?) instructions for you to look at.

Thanks, these are good. I like the notes made throughout the instructions. Are the drill sizes and spring selections for the dodge 47re and 5.9 diesel engine?

I'm still looking for a video guys. If anyone has one they can spare, I'll send you a few bucks for postage. Hey Fred, did you get your guages and other goodies in yet?
Roysleight,
My gauges have come in. This time of year is the busiest for me. Monday I start harvesting fescue. It will be 3 weeks until I have a weekend off to work on my truck. I did lose 2nd gear in my tranny a couple of days ago (look in the help section) I did get it fixed and it was fine.

Sorry to hear about your gear problems guys. I'm not going for the extreme shifts, will try to use the middle range of adjustments, and hopefully will be okay. I'm not doing mine anytime soon either Fred, we're cutting hay right now. Keep'er sharp and pray for dry weather!
