TransGo Shift or Reprogramming kit?

Thats fine if you don't have an extra hour and the know how to install a shift kit.
The trans builders install a shift kit in a stock valve body and sell to you for $400.

Yes but they do some secret stuff based on lots of experience. I've heard with the Transgo you don't utilize all the drive pressure.

Will your shift kit lock the converter up in 1st gear if you want? My valve body will.
It takes longer than an hour to install a shift kit too.

Keep an eye out for Valve Bodies in the classifieds. You can find used ones for $200-300 sometimes.

Thanks for the reply. The more I read about Goerend the better they sound, I just wish I had the money for their Transmission. I never thought about the classifieds good tip, thanks.

Yeah, I have been saving for the whole deal for a while. I already have the coverter, VB, billet input and billet apply levers. The good thing is he takes the price of all that off of the new transmission as long as they are all his parts. So another $1700 or so and ill have the whole thing. Mine hasnt died yet though, so i keep running it.
