Has anyone installed their transfer tank as an auxiliary tank? By that I mean I would like to hook up my new to me transfer tank directly to the lift pump via a switching valve. basically a dual tank set-up

I would prefer not to install it as a transfer tank where it would refill the main tank.

You could maybe hit the parts store and get one for an older model chevy, but I don't know if it would be safe for diesel.

 

It would be an eaisier install but it is really nice to have that pump keep those tanks equal I promise.

 

Only problem with dual tanks, you can run out of fuel with a full tank,
it's easier than you think....
