trans is in SWEEEEEEET

I have needed a trans for a while, after the edge box went in go fugure. I oculd not run over 3 and it would slip bad. I called Goerends and they were booked up for a month on there rebuilds and talking to dave he told me about one of his frends who used to live up there by him and that he was a dodge dealer mechanic who opened his own shop in florida and that he still buys all his parts form them. So I asked were he was located and low and be hold he was 15 from my house what are the odds so I called Todd and Inline performance and he said bring it by. And to make a long story short this is what it cost me.
TC $1200
Over haul kit $200
Pan Gasket $12.45
Filter $18.50
ATF $70.68
cleaner $12.50
Lador $550
Tolal was only $2208.62 Not to bad when the parts were $1514.13. Anyone in florida need more info drop me a line. Now for the best part the truck is amazing you can run the comp on 5.5 Zero slipping that thing hooks up! when the TC locks up it it is amazing how hard it pulls. I can not wait to really see what it will do I wanted to seat all the clutchs and take it easy for a few hundred miles. Now it is time for the big injectors when it it stop

Thumbs up

Sweet. I will be doing some upgrades to mine soon too since I want to add 1.6's and an Edge EZ.

Just curious on why you didnt decide to upgrade the valve body since you where in there. Thanks.

you don't have to buy a new valve body to upgrade it. there are things you can do internally to "upgrade" it like the ones you buy. I'm sure if the tranny guy was competent he did these things
