sweeeeeeet- new holley is in

put my holley pump in today and i got great pressure now. old- idle was 10, cruising-6 psi, wot- 1-0 psi. new- idle 15 psi, cruising- 12 psi, wot- 8 psi. i was really hesitant to cut that metal line, but once done- it was a breeze.
i am triggering relay with power wire of lift pump. i bought pump from autozone of all places- carry it in stock for 95.00. made sure it was a holley blue pump with regulator. next- leveling kit and 33's and then hello "big shell "and some fishin'. thanks for everyone's advice and input, made job much easier-

Glad to hear you got it on and working. See you don't have to spend a small fortune to get some fuel pressure.
But when my Holley finally takes a dirt nap i will probably upgrade to the Walbro.

i did install the regulator....may remove later though. lovin' that bulverde livin'. coundn't wait to get out of san antonio!!! that place is becoming one big gangster hangout! lived in a neighborhood for over 20 years and h.u.d started moving in a bunch of low rent housing and neighborhood went to sh%t. had 9 gangbangers show up at my house at 9:30 at night lookin' to jump my son and one says "i'll go get a gun and kick your a$$"...told momma- load the truck, were gone. house sold in 3 days for more that i ever expected and found an old place on 2 acres in beautiful bulverde and haven't looked back. having alot of fun renovating this house, got a huge workshop and trees like you wouldn't believe. funny thing- that is what pushed me to get this cummins....had a 4x4 suburban for running the beach for fishing. couldn't haul a 16 ft. flatbed with it though.....you know, remodeling trash and such. well thats what got me to buy this cummins and i tell you what- the lord works in mysterious ways . now if them little ^%^&**$$ show up here...shoot first , ask questions later. not to mention i have enough room for a really BIG dog.
my rotty will eat them for a snack!!! my son also traded to a ford f-350 4x4 crewcab diesel, but wishes he had my ctd you texas fellas- if your ever in the neighborhood- stop in and say "how-do"
