I just took the "L" bracket that comes with it, used some thicker mounting tape on the left side to angle it toward me and pushed it down under the to lip of the instrument cluster cover on the left side, pushed the wire into the groove and brought it out under the column. It's not in the way, yet it's right where I need it. Looks factory installed, if I must say so myself.

Where can I get the tan paint that will stick to plastic?
Also, I don't really want to drill the original pillar to use the little "plugs" to hold the new to the old one, couldn't one just use the two sided tape for that?

You can buy vinyl dye in a spray can at most auto parts stores. You will also need special vinyl prep solvent or the dye will not stick. I guess I was lucky, mine came the right color.

Ya that is how mine was, but the pillar mount is a lot cleaner and more natural looking. If I knew how to post a picture of mine I would. I hace a pic on my puter and could send it to someone if they want to post it up?

I found this on EBAY today. I haven't seen it before but looks like it might look good. There are good pics too.

How did you end up doing yours sluggo? Cause I'm not really in the mood to cut the old a-pillar so the new one will fit.
