tranny upgrade help

I have a 01 and have recently installed a new air intake, 4" exhaust, and edge juice w/ attitude, but I am a little nervous about what my automatic tranny might think of all this fun were about to have. I pull a 9000lb trailer pretty often and Im hoping to prolong the life of my tranny without spending a ton of money. I know that putting a valve body is a good idea, so I need to know who makes a good one and what kind of money are we talking. And is there anything else that I should do while Im at it. Thanks

I am in the same boat. I am waiting on installing mach 1.6 injectors until I put a 89% torque converter and valve body. I have installed a magnatech DD tranny pan which helps temps. I think if you watch temps on hills with upgraded TC, VB and DD pan you should be fine for awhile. IMHO

It's not the hill you gotta worry about. It's the right foot pressure on the peddle and tryin to keep it off 5x5.
i did the VB & TC and they are holding, i usally run 3x5 daily drivin and only 5x5 for the short right lanes.
Check out my sig i got everything from Jegs.

I am a big believer in the DTT VB after what it held up to under the abuse of our mascott Big Blue.

But any of the big 5 should be able to fix you up.
