I have 37s on my truck and I am curious which auto is better for the bigger tires? ATS or DTT?

Re:which tranny?

I don't know on the tranny question, but gotta say, nice truck.
You might want to edit your profile, Richard Cepek won't get censored. , or just use the accepted abbreviation of DC Lift.

Re:which tranny?

Lance:

I have the ATS TripleLok Stage IV in both my 96' Dodge
CTD and my 2002 Dodge CTD. I am very happy with the
units in both of my trucks! The unit in my 96' has over
45,000 miles on it now.

I like the ATS unit because their torque converter is
a "triple disc clutch design" rather than the single disc
on the stock TC. It gives you 119 square inches of
lock-up clutch surface area versus 34 for the stock
unit. ATS also offers a 36 month 100,000 mile warranty.
Their ATS Electronic Controller (Commander) allows you
to control the speed at which the converter locks up.
In addition to that, the entire crew at ATS (Clint, Ranee,
Matt, Mike etc.) are great people to deal with and they
back-up what they sell!!

Both of my trucks are at 500 H.P. and I run them hard!
Many of the members on this site will vouch for that!
I highly recommend the ATS transmission!!

Re:which tranny?

Neither go SUNCOAST cheaper, better warrenty, awsome customer service. MY buddy owns a diesel performance and repair shop and says he fixes at least one ATS tranny a month.
