My question is one of opinions. I've read up on this alot lately and I've got the benifits/drawbacks down, and I'm just wanting personal experiences. I can mess with it as much as I want, Snap-On kit is ordered, so I'm just looking for a starting point. If anyone's tried a couple different timing advancements and has an opinion on which one worked best for them and why, I'd sure like to hear it :-) any input is appriciated really.

 

When I had my 12v I had Chris at Relentless Diesel advance my timing to 15.8. Best thing I ever did. I had no stumble from the 370's or DV's. It helped fuel mileage too. Good luck!

With that 215 pump, 16-16.5* is what I've heard works best. The smaller pumps like more timing...so mine's at 17*

Wanna put that Snap-On kit to more use...when you get it figured out, of course

I've gotten suggestions from 15.5-17, so I guess I'll start at the bottom and work my way up.

Just lemme know whenever Chris, We'll work something out.
