Those with bed covers, please give me your opinion
I purchased my 97 with a Leer cab height shell on it, and like it very much. One thing that annoys me to no end is the dirt build up on the cab rear window and topper front window. Any way to stop that, or am I going to have to keep on loosening the clamps and sliding it back to wash it by hand?
I would like to get some type of cover for my 95, but am unsure what type to look at. I've had snap tonneau's and fiberglass toppers on other trucks, but that's it. This truck has the rails in the bed for a fifth wheel or gooseneck plate, which I'd like to put to use at some point. In the meantime, I'd like to cover it up so I can set stuff back there and not clutter up the cab. Should I look into another snap type cover, or maybe a roll up? I don't think I want to go with a topper, too bulky to remove. Feel free to give opinions/suggestions on either or both subjects. Thanks.
Maybe post up some pics of your trucks with different style covers too.

I had the same cover(Tek-Sport) on my 98 since I bought it until a month or so ago when I was given a different one(Tek-Style).It had little wear on it and was passed down to a MD DTR member(Fiveology)who now has it on his truck. They get little advertisement,TEK,but make one tough cover.I have had snow piled on it over the cab while I was trucking out West and came home and figured I was done, nope, shoved it off and drove away, cover held and never bent or gave. When I passed it down to Ernie for his the clamps were junk.He made a call to TEK and they sent him new clamps for less than $30.They make some of the most under rated and durable covers out there.....Andy

i have an undercover - looks good, scratch resistant, light enough to remove by myself, and i can stand on it for miscellaneous jobs.

I am a big fan of the vinyl roll up covers myself. I have had several kinds including toppers, fiberglass tonneau, Pace Edwards roll up tonneau and 2 different Access covers so far and for my purposes the soft roll ups are the best. I like the versatility of being able to roll it up out of the way and load the box, run my slide in camper or cover the bed without having to unbolt or change anything at all. I bought all of my stuff used and paid a fraction of the new price. When I decide to change I just relist the item on Craigslist or some other website and usually get my money back. Anyway - good luck.
