Tapping IP wire bad idea?
Tapping IP wire bad idea?
I just replaced my ip about a 100 miles ago and was wondering if it was a good idea to wait a while before tapping the wire??????? and i was wondering the downfalls of tapping the wire ??
I tapped mine the day I got it back but, I used a stealth cover. I put the original cover and the torx wrench to change it in the glove box. When it fails I will put the original cover back on. The dealer bulliten says to look for a tapped wire, it does not say to remove cover and look for tap there. Black rtv will fill the tap under the cover, just in case.
yah i screwed up when i had the new pump sitting there i put my wire tap on it thinking i might as well because it was easily accesable o well ill figure something out if somethin happens
