Re:superchips and comp

Can you tell if there is any miss at High RPM's. I tried the same setup and liked the way it ran, but I went over a bridge with barriers for the exhaust to bounce off of and at 2700 RPM's or so it sounded like it was missing, I could not hear it from the engine just the exhaust tone. The engine was smooth, just sounded like there was a miss through the exhaust. Could be my imagination.

I haven't hear any misses at high rpms, but then again I was holding on pretty tight trying not to hit other cars in traffic. I'll run it today when I go out for lunch and see if I notice anything

I run the same set-up, and have no problems with "missing". Do not take big tires to the Dyno. LE

Re:superchips and comp

So do you unplug your comp before you hook up the superchip to prevent it from screwing up the comp box? This setup will give you 70 more horsepower? I have never heard of this. Is it a huge difference?

Re:superchips and comp

I took disconected my battery cables and unpluged all wires on my comp like I was taking it off and returning to stock. I hooked up the battery cables and installed the superchips download. I ran that way for a day then disconnected the batteries again hooked the comp back up and away I was. I feel a huge difference in power. Im now getting a hard long chirp of the tires when my auto shifts into 2nd. Im pretty impressed.
