you could cut it off before or after the cat. from there go to an auto parts store and by a piece of strait 4" and some reducers etc. I would recomend using a tail pipe because you will get a droan in the cab if you don't.

If it's '94 you should have 3" pipe under there.Get a piece from a muffler shop and a couple of band clamps and gut everything out from the front of the cat to the back of the muffler. It will be loud, i put on a flow thru muffler after having a straight pipe for about 8 months.

stock they go 3" off the turbo, 4" after the cat, then 3" after the muffler... we just run 3" from the downpipe to the tailpipe

I ran 4" from the cat back. Straight pipe, 1-4" connector, 1-30* elbow. You'll have to measure, I forget how much. Just knock off the muffler, use the conector to put the 4" on the cat out pipe, run it back to the axle, put the elbow on it, and the extra pipe. It comes out at about the oem location. It clears everything, but is close to the spare tire. I welded on some hangers to support it, and ran it until I got the stacks.

A previous owner cut the muffler off of mine and installed straight pipe in its place. With just a cat, it sounds extremely nice, and not too loud either, IMO.

mine has a straight pipe that ends a ways behind the cab. It has a downturned tip on it, which i'm told helps with the drone. It's not too bad at all. It came that way from the previous owner.

When I had my stock exhaust I went to the pipe and muffler shop and got it done for $60 in about 10 minutes.

I don't beleive that the 94s had a cat, mine didn't. It should already have a 3" to 4" expander about 2 feet in front of the stock muffler, cut it off, move it as close to the turbo as possible and go with the above mentioned suggestions from there. Should be good!
