stock intermediate shaft??

How much will the stock intermediate shaft hold? I am about to order tranny parts and i am going to be getting billit output and input but am on the fence about the billit intermediate. I am going to be putting compounds turbos on and i would like to see around 6oohp. With some racing and a few sled pulls but mostly daily driver and tow. So do i need a billit intermediate or will stock do? Truck is an 01 4x4

If i could only order 2 shafts they would be the input and intermediate, leave the output as the weak link they are easyer to change and do less damage when they break.

If it was a 47rh, I would agree with Buckshotram. On the 47re, go for the input and output.

Agree! And I know of no 2nd Gen 47RE that has had trouble with their stock Flex Plate at the track.
But I would want one for serious sled pulling!

A good High pressure valve body and a built furnace brazed torque converter from either Goerends, Suncoast, DTT, ATS, to name a few brands.

I would do some billet accumulators, servo's and springs while your in there (if your weren't going to already). What rebuild kit are you going with?
