stock clutch to get rid of

George W. Bush called and said I could come home from deployment, low and behold I walk into the house and layin there in the middle of the living room floor is the stock clutch out of my truck complete. The wife had it replaced with a South Bend 13 incher while I was gone. The stock clutch is perfectly good just wouldn't hold the HP with the mods I made before I left. My question now is what can I do with it? Seems to be a waste just to leave it lay around. Looking for suggestions. PS this is for a 99 2500 CTD.

Well that was awful NICE of your wife to do. She's a keeper!! ;D

I have an auto, so I'm not in the market, but I can suggest you sell it on Ebay or something. Take good pics of it to post so they can see exactly what they're gettin as I'm sure you will offer no warranty with it.
Or, you could just chuck it in the trash, or give it to an auto parts store for a core. I did that when I swapped out my 64 Ford tractor brake shoes, as they are rare and I couldn't see taking another set off the market. It would just make it more expensive for me next time.
Of course, maybe you will find someone on here that's stock and needs a clutch.

And by the way, THANKS for my freedom!!

Chris

The wife she is a keeper, but in all fairness she "thank god" has no idea how much I spent to make that clutch slip like that.
