Stacks and Tool Box
I have seen guys move their tool boxes back to accomidate their Stacks and am not sure how I feel about the look and loss of space. I currently am using a full lid aluminum D-plate box that sits on the rails. I also have a low pro twin lid I could use or I have a white steel (easily painted) full length, full lid box that sits down in the bed that I could take a foot and a half out of and mount between the stacks. What do ya'll think?

Check out the pics in my gallery on what I did. I bought a box, took to a buddy of mine who's a welder and he cut/welded it to fit aroung the stacks. It really turned out SWEET! There are some other guys around here who some other good ideas. Hope that helped.

I like stacks, but a man ought to have at least 450 hp before he can have them! I'm thinking the same thing but my problem is a diesel tank and fifth wheel ball plus having a shortbed. Go with the stacks and cut the toolbox around it. Good luck!

It wasn't really the loss of room that I was concerned with. It is all about astetics and keeping things clean looking. With it moved back you have that gap between the front of the bed and the tool box (AKA- a good place to dispose of beer cans!! ). I am going to take another look but I think I have sttled on having to cut one of the boxes.
