obtaining the hot code for the juice

i will hopefully be coming back home in the next month or so to my truck. im in the military so i dont have hardly any time to research and such. this is my first time on the internet in who knows how long. anyways, the last time i was home, i called edge about the hot code for my juice on my 2000. they said i had to pay $100 and send it in for 3 days to recieve the reprogram. however, my unit asks me for the numeric/alphabetical code when selected. does this sound right to you guys? i cant call edge due to not being near my phone during their business hours. i just find this weird and would like to hear the true procedure from those of you who have already done it.

thanks,

jeremy

The Comp is what has to be sent in. Edge's customer service has gone strait down hill IMHO. If they indeed told you that you had to send in the Juice to them. They have me all screwed up on an Ebay deal that is Edge's fault. I sold an Attitude monitor, Edge told me it could be reprogrammed for a Common Rail, and now I have to return the buyers money because now Edge says it can't be reprogrammed for a CR.

All you have to do is get a code from them to unlock your Hot mode. The TDR free deal is up, last time I heard. They said I was one of the last people to get it for free, as they had to ask someone in charge if they could still do it for me.

Like I said, you don't need to send it in, just pay too much money for them you give you a 4 digit code over the phone.
