Re:Stacks

Any big truck place has them. You can ask around on here. I am sure you will have some guys help more.

Here in Kentucky, a place called republic diesel has them, but that does you no good unless you want them shipped.

Re:Stacks

I ordered mine from www.berubes.com.
No one really has a kit, you usually have to buy want you want after you lay it out.
Look in the member photos section to see different applications.

Re:Stacks

My question isn't where to buy them, it's how do you use your bed once they're installed? It's next to worthless once you place a HOT piece of pipe(s) in the front
Re:Stacks

I use my bed like normal. some things melt but I have never had anything catch fire. I will be building a box to go around the bottom of them more for looks but it will keep stuff from touching the tubeing. We have 3 different g/n drags now so we use them most of the time.
DM01

Re:Stacks

Thank for all the feed back! I had one more question though. How much louder is the exhaust in the cab, and does it have to be straight piped?

Thanks,
Dave

Re:Stacks

Cruising 55 on level ground with no load, you can just hear a light rumble with mine even with the windows down. Now loaded up or acceleratings is a different story all together, but, mine is straight piped off the turbo. You can install the resonator or a muffler to get the desired sound you want clear down to no sound at all if you want to go that far.
I must admit on a long trip of 10 to 12 hours, mine will get annoying. I just pop in a set of ear plugs for the long haul. The short haul sounds really cool though.

Look in the member photos section on page 2 under dieseldude4x4's pics and hobbies to see some pics of my set up. I like them taller above the cab, gives them that sort of blappy sound if you know what I mean.
