i was thinking about stacking my edge comp but i dont have the need or money for a smarty. does anyone have any knowledge on stacking a chip with the edge that will only cost a few houndred bucks but still give me around 50 more hp? or does anyone want to sell a smarty for a couple houndred... might as well ask

I would never try another injector after trying my 4 flow Dragons. No smoke with the box turned off, unbelievable smooth idle & all the way up the powerband. The Fluidamper is a great mod, smoothed my engine down alot...very impressed with it. The Drag comp upgrade really makes a difference in these trucks, but only if you run the rpms up over 2700.

It was originally designed for high revving race engines to balance the rotating mass more evenly than stock balancers. The stock balancers have a pressed on ring around the outside with rubber between the ring & balancer body which at higher revs starts to dislodge. This causes the balancer to "wobble" which in turn is like a wheel on your car that popped one of the weights throwing it off balance. The smoother the mass rotates, the longer the engine will last. Fluidampers are a one piece body filled with fluid.

I think they are around $375 or so, but I can't remember for some dumb reason. I looked under my hood when my engine was stock & noticed my stock balancer wobbling due to the thing coming apart. I would recommend them to anyone stock or otherwise, but I'm sure it isn't a "must have" item.

Send it in to edge, and a week later you'll have more revs. It does have an earlier bottom end as well. You can't do much better than a drag comp or a hot juice. The quad box is going to be a hot item when it gets released to the public.
