Question Smarty Settings

I was wondering if a lower smarty setting with my mods would be better than #8 that I am running??? It is hard to launch in 2nd/4WD without bogging down and clouding out the world!!!! Any suggestions???

Yup. The lower settings won't throw the fuel in so early and fast.

Or you can turn the sub-level on the Comp down. With it set on 5, you're getting almost instant fueling from the Comp that is going to add to the smoke. Roll that back to a lower sub-level and your turbo will be spooling up by the time the extra fuel from the Comp comes in.

I was running my Smarty on 9, but I have switched to 6 and it's alot better for around town and it goes from 70 to 100 in just a few seconds. Also egt's are alot easier to control.

I run around with the smarty on 4 and the comp on 1x2. I've gotta have a very light foot not to put smoke out but the around town power is nice.

Smile

I really wasn't concerened about the smoke, it was the bogging causing me to be slow off the lights. Trying to be fast with a stick is very tricky but sure is a good time!!!

Can you turn down the sublevel on the comp so the fuel doesn't hit as soon? That'd help methinks, but I'm unfamiliar with the comp settings =\

I'm running sw7 on the smarty and trying to find a good setting for the tst. Like you I'm trying to find a setting where I can get into it hard without bogging, but I'm also trying to find the perfect setting for minimal smoke. 7/7 maybe my fav so far.

What I've found that helps me is to raise the RPM's before I take off.
