Revised ARP head stud kit out for 12V, Heads up.
I got my stud kit from ARP today, P/N 247-4203.
After perusing the directions I see where the rocker pedestal bolts use to have an issue with valve cover clearance they came up with a design change to support this.
The kit now comes with shorter rocker arm pedestal head studs, and requires machining of the rocker arm pedestal .200 in deep X 1.1000 in where the stud goes through the pedestal for valve cover clearance.
Guess I will owe my friend who has a Bridgeport miller a few beers
The kit also includes the secondary rocker arm hold down bolts which weren't previously available.
I haven't seen this before so figure Id throw this out there.
No more grinding the valve covers hopefully
